I'm a certified palm nut. Sunset Magazine named me Palm Pilot in an April, 2003 article. I currently grow, outside in the ground, 63 palm species (205 palms total) and many other subtropical plants. I am a landscape designer and own my own company which specializes in the tropical look here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm in USDA zone 9b/10a and Sunset Western zone 16.
