I'm a contractor by trade. We, work in forestry, planting trees, doing herbicide work, etc.. I also keep and breed lots of different species of birds and animals. Gardening is a natural step in working with these animals to provide them with food and comfort. I enjoy the landscaping and the gardening. They provide me with a little seclusion from the hectic pace of life. I've grown quite fond of working with the many types of Bamboos, and look forward to meeting others that are interested as well.
