My firs year in my first home and garden ever, was a disaster from financial point of view, but a delightful discovery of the gardener that was dormant in me... In my second year as a gardener, I winter sown dozens of plants. Money wise, it was definitely better, but I missed the pleasure of picking & choosing my selection right there on the spot, in the nursery. So, my flirtation with "winter sowing" ended abruptly when all my neighbours had beautiful blooming flowers, while mine were still hard to see from the ground. My third gardening year just began, and I look forward to spend so much time as possible in my garden. Life is beautiful - LET S ENJOY IT WHILE WE CAN!!!
