I am new to the Crafts forum....a friend of mine loves it though and said she gets into craft exchanges a lot (in the Crafts forum) and gets lots of ideas for crafts through the Crafts & Decorating (C&D) forum. *G*

I am also fairly new to crafting...I did things as a kid through Parks & Recreation but that's about it. I also tried crocheting, but that didn't work out....everything turned out crooked....including my chains. LOL So now am trying out other things to see what I am good at. I've really loved the cookie and cake ideas in the C&D forum because baking I can do. *G* I've been trying to make some simple ornaments as well.

I was recently in my first craft show, through work. It went okay, and I broke out a little less than even, but it was worth it as I do have some upcoming orders that will help out and should make me come out about even. On top of that, though, I found that it was a great learning experience...I had way too much variety on way to small of a table!!! I also learned different ways that I can display things to set them off from the other items that I am offering. *G*

My other passions are reading, writing poetry, and traveling. After the holidays, I plan on checking out the Book Reviews forum as I am sure to love it as well. *G*
