I have been collecting plants since my granny gave me an african violet at the age of 12 or 13 and was hooked every since. I collect aroids and begoinia . And have many many yard plants. When I am not gardening I sing in my blues band. Big Red and The Soul Benders, we are on the road alot and travel all ove the U.S. I have a 12x16 koi pond and many flower beds. I am trying to be a member of the no grass society however getting rid of the creeping gras here is like trying to get rid of flys !!! they just keep comming back!!! I am an artist,water color,pencil,and jewlerymaking are some of the mediums I like. I also do mosaic art,I am curently working on my bathroom floor. Married to a wonderful man who happens to be my bass player ,he helps me do the heavy work and never complains even tho he knows im NUTS when it comes to my plants.
