..retired teacher enjoying FL winters, finally. Enjoy a lifetime of experience from maintaining large (1 - 5 acre)gardens and preserving most of our food by canning, dehydrating and/or freezing. Our five children didn't always appreciate or participate in the process but ALL are now gardeners to various degrees.

Grew most of usual foodstuffs, now explore growing the unusual just for fun. We're avid seed savers and collectors always looking for a better way to organize our "treasures".
