Living in Stillwater NJ. Trying different plant species around the yard. Have lots of deer and Black Walnuts on the property so i am limited as to what will grow. I also have a few ground hogs.... trying to encourage them to live elsewhere. Will be putting in a small pond and have some extensive retaining walls to build. (part of my property has a rather steep slope which i want to use for various gardens and water features.) Currently have a wife and two great kids 31/2 and 21/2 yrs. old. currently investigating Bamboo and Giant Sequioas. Not sure how they will fair in my area.
