I have a cottage-style flower and herb garden at home and a vegetable plot in a community garden in Santa Barbara, CA. I find the challenges of year-round gardening (and no summer rainfall!) interesting and sometimes frustrating. Originally from the mid-west. Still getting used to the weather here in paradise after being here more than 10 years.....Kristine
