I have been planting since I was 6-7 year old. When we moved to Houston< I planted peaches and harvested good crops, but when I planted a grape fruit tree, it died on me. I thought: oh, Houston is not the place for planting citrus until recently a friend gave me a tangerine tree. It was so good, it survives well the winter here. From then on I have been planting lots of citrus trees, do air layering, cutting and even grafting. I don't know if Houston is in zone 9 or not. Please tell me if I am wrong.
