I retired 10 years ago and moved to Hawaii. I have a small coffee farm, 400 trees. I have recently added Cacao Trees ,80, used for making Chocolate. I grow a few vanilla orchids and a number of different kinds of fruit trees. A neighbor moving back to the mainland gave me some large Gold Fish. I started a pond for them, that has taken on a life of it's own. Thanks to Garden Web Forum, it has turned out very well. The large pool is about 1000 gallon, fed by a 400 gallon pond and a filter stream. After re-circulating through an Oase skimmer and biological filter for two months, my pond has turned crystal clear.
