I live about an hour west of Austin, Texas, in a little town named Spicewood. Our main claims to fame are Krauses Springs and Willie Nelson. I live on a farm in the heart of town and absolutely love it. I have cattle, horses, chickens, guineas and five dogs (all pound puppies except one). Im working on getting back to growing all my own food. I have a milk cow, raise my own grass fed beef, this year hope to raise a few chickens for the freezer, and am enlarging the vegetable gardens.

I also love reading and knitting. I am on the board of directors of our local library and volunteer up there every chance I get. I also spin (wool into yarn) on a spinning wheel and hope to have a small spinners flock of sheep one day soon.

And if that wasnt enough to keep me busy, I also work at the Natural Gardener in Austin. My dream job!
