I am a passionate and obssessed gardener who has grown thousands of plants from seed. I sold rare and unique plants for many years; though I have cut way back on my sales, I havent quite been able to give it up totally. My gardens are large and include an eclectic, sometimes haphazard combination of trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, vines, and annuals. I also have a small water garden. Beating zones is a challenge I love. Japanese maples have long been a passion of mine. I also enjoy hiking, camping, crafting things from and for the garden, my mini rat terrier Annie and my-not-so-mini rat terrier Monty (I love him inspite of himself), and my family (who arent second to the gardens, though they may sometimes feel otherwise). I also have some really ugly aquarium fish that are too big to flush.
