Ive been an American Rose Society member and volunteer for 23 years. I am an ARS Master Consulting Rosarian, Horticultural Rose Judge, rose exhibitor, Editor of the 2007 ARS American Rose Annual, and 16 years as editor of "Rose Ecstasy," the award-winning newsletter of the Santa Clarita Valley Rose Society. I was previously editor of "Pacific Southwest Rose" (2000-2003) and the ARS "Rose Exhibitors Forum" (1994-1997). I have written over 350 educational rose horticulture articles for various publications.

I enjoy photographing and writing about roses. My husband and I currently grow 350 roses of all types. I am webmaster of the Santa Clarita Valley Rose Society web site. I am co-founder and past-president of the Santa Clarita Valley Rose Society, and President-Emeritus and Life Member of the Los Angeles Rose Society.

The American Rose Society committees on which I have served are: Publications/Bulletin Competition Committee; Garden Evaluation Committee; Product Evaluation Committee; Member Services Committee; and Year of the Rose 2002 Committee. I currently serve as Chairman of the ARS Editorial Advisory Committee.
