I live in southeastern South Dakota in a Zone 4 growing climate. I like an informal gardening style with my flowers and lots of color, and also vegie garden. Some of the perennials I have growing are: purple cone fower, rudbekia, Obediant plant, delphiniums, oriental poppies, Lobelia Cardinalis, Yarrow, monarda, and Penstemon. I also love hanging baskets with multiple annuals in each.

I'm married and we have one son who is middle school aged. We're into animals of all sorts--dog Daisy, frogs, geckos, and rats Beaker and Atom.

I'm a teacher and a nurse by career choice.

I love to knit and crochet, bake, sew, read and garden.
