Hello and Welcome to Kims*Kreations! As you may have guessed, my name is Kim and I love to Kreate. I am a stay at home mom (part time Postal Clerk) who married her best friend (he was my neighbor when I was 12) 13 years ago and we share our lives with 2 beautiful children (Boy 16 and Girl 11 and let's not forget King Kazzpurr: I have been crocheting since I was 10 and consider it a lost art which I take great pride in every piece I make. Some pieces I consider masterpieces and will never make again and others I make many of. I consider myself a perfectionist when it comes to my crochet work. Lately I have been Kreating beaded plant hangers (see link below). As far as gardening, our soil is very acidic and I tried to garden when we first moved here 8 years ago and got frustrated with it. Last summer I felt very depressed and knew I was missing something which was my love of plants/gardening so I took it up again. I fell in love with daylilies and have begun my new addiction with them. I hope to hybridize for the first time next summer. I can't grow anything from seed. I don't know why but I have the hardest time no matter what I do. I am OK with cuttings (sometimes) but actually prefer to deal with an established plant. Maybe my thumb will turn from brown to green someday? *LOL* Last summer I got more involved with the Garden Web and had alot of fun doing trades. I have met some of the nicest people here! This winter I participated in my first Round Robin/Secret Pal and it has just been an overwelmingly touching experience for me. I have included links below my exchange information to all my pages which includes my crochet, plant hangers, and plants. Please check them out. Feedback is ALWAYS appreciated. |
My Current Exchange InformationPlease note that this list is simply a list for me to keep track of what I currently have growing. Some may not be available for trade as of yet. I like to trade ROOTED cuttings or whole plants as I am not good with seeds and only like to root my own plants. Recently I had my first experience with sending my end of a trade and NEVER receiving from the person. After much thought I have had to come to the realization that I can't afford to send my end and not receive anything in return. I only have a few plants to share and these plants mean alot to me and so does honesty. I ask that when trading with me that you send your end first and once received I will send my end. I ALWAYS send my end via Priority Mail w/Delivery Confirmation and ask for the same in return.
