Hi - I live in Hartville, Ohio with my Husband and twin children who are now 4 years old. I have just a little over an acre that I have started 2 large perennial beds for the last 5 years. Last year a put in a gravel patio with 4 raised beds edged in cut sandstone. My own little Versailles. A girl has to dream! I put a salvaged urn on a pedestal and filled the beds with tulips, allium and lavendar. This is thier second year and it's starting to come along.

As I cut another area for a new bed - my husband always says-aren't we going to leave any grass for the kids to play on? I know in time I'll be getting rid of that grass-after they are done playing on it!
