I am a widow who works full-time, four grown children. Have always practiced organic gardening, but with age, income, and lack of time I am interested in time saving techniques and frugal tips. Love to propagate from friends, start seeds, and plan and implement new beds. Dislike yard/garden maintenance. We are in the fourth year of a drought in LOUISIANA!!!, so I am interested in some time-saving and low maintenance tips, since I don't have the time or interest in hand watering 500 plants, and I know we here will soon be a monsoon state again. I love the garden experiments forum, very rarely have to use non-organic solutions for problems, but here we have such a thriving critter population that sometimes I just have to do so, so I read this forum all the time, and I think I have some good ideas to contribute. Love this site!
