I like plants. All plants especially shade plants and those that are variegated. I have a respectable collection of hostas and perennials. I like sharing my plants with anyone as long as they plan on taking care of them. I do a bit of propagating by seed, cuttings, layering and grafting.
In Maine I like to push my luck with plant hardiness. My AG office says I'm z4 but I grow z6 plants with a bit of extra care. I've found I can grow Z5 herbaceous plants easily but z5 trees and shrubs are hit and miss.
