Hi, my name is Kenda and Im a stay-at-home mother of three children(3,6 and 9 years old) who are said to be "as cute as a sack o taters". My favorite place to be in the morning and evenings is - in the garden. I live in the midwest where winters can be long so I rely heavily on evergreens and deciduous plants with interesting characteristics during the winter months as the bones of my gardens. I work perennials in amongst these. My 1/2 acre suburban yard primarily reflects my love of the english cottage garden style. I am constantly battling bunnies (although we have a pet lop eared house rabbit) and the clay soil and am definately a "fair weathered gardener". I will not be found in the garden in the middle of a hot day in August! I am rarely attached to this computer so if you email me and dont hear from me for a couple of weeks, Im not ignoring you!
