I've always been extremely interested in gardening, mostly container plants since we only have owned our own house since 1998. Now that we live in a place with a yard of our own, I still gravitate toward the container plants. It gets very hot where we live, and so far I haven't had a lot of success with planting my yard, as everything seems to fry. At least everything I like. I have become obsessed with epiphyllum (jungle cacti) and have spent the last few years trying to acquire every one that I can. Over the last few years I have become pretty adept at providing the environment that they thrive in, and I'm constantly trying to find people to share this interest and people who would like to exchange cuttings of these plants. To me, these are the most beautiful blooms in the world!!
