Since a sudden partial loss of vision, I find myself at loose ends, unable to drive, unable to work, etc while I am being assessed. Always having been a shrub person, I decided to take a foray into fuschia and perennials, etc. I live in Nova Scotia, and we're not up to our average temps yets. Our last frost was a week or so ago. I stumbled by this page looking for some info and I'm glad I did. My mother was an awesome gardener, but only one inherited her knack, my brother. While I love to look at gardens, I've just never had a green thumb. I'm out to prove you can change the colour of your thumb or transplant it.
