I am a brand new gardener who has been wanting to start, but has been terrified of insects and spiders to try. Recently I have been calmer around the little critters. This past Valentine's holiday, my husband bought me a miniature lavendar rose bush that I have been able to keep up with and have just transferred to a larger pot.

We have 5 house rabbits (2 adopted, 2 rescued) as our little fur kids, and have even discussed with others on using their droppings as fertilizer. I look forward to adding gardening to my other hobbies: crocheting, knitting, and fixing my old Mustang. Hopefully I will be able to express my love of color, pattern and design in my little plot of earth like I do in my yarn projects.
