Hi all! Im glad I found this site because I love talking to fellow gardeners. I grew up in the southeast US, but I got to Texas as fast as I could! I must admit I miss the rain and acidic soil, though. I love roses, fruit trees and daisies, but I am developing a fondness for ANYTHING thats not french-fried by August (with the exception of Bermuda grass). Honeysuckle and pittosporum are also near the top of my list because they smell so darn good! I live in west central Texas, home of the watering restrictions. We seem to get most of our water in the form of hail!
Im a big animal lover, too, and have dogs and cats (inside). Im looking forward to learning from all of you.>
