I have been interested in Daylilies for 2 years. I have about 50 cultivars and hope to double that this year.

Initially, almost all of my information came from the daylily forum and from Bill's Hemorocallis (the link I have listed below which is NOT my homepage.)

My long range goal is to collect some of the less popular but worthy varieties to save them from extinction.

Initially I hope to collect as many cultivars hybridized by M. MacMillan as possible. (Many are already out of circulation but may still be in someone's garden. Let me know if you have any).

I'm also interested in any information/history about MacMillan.

I'm especially interested if anyone knows the inspiration behind the name "Heavenly Haviland".

My hometown is Haviland and some might refer to it as "heavenly" because it is a very religious (Quaker) community.
