We are currently landscaping the front yard of our 90 year old house. We have fruit trees in back, planted by my husband's grandfather but nothing in front. 3dogs, 2 kids, 11 birds, 2 cats and a guinea pig share this home with my husband and I. I love to garden and am in the process of learning about roses,drip irrigation, mediterranean plants and BEING PATIENT! We're doing all the work ourselves in our "spare time". My husband's a writer and I am an artist (painter and illustrator).

I'm looking forward to learning alot and making some similarly-interested friends through this forum.
