*Gardening is Good for the Soul* After losing our home, gardens and everything to Katrina on the coast, we re putting down roots in NE Oklahoma and couldn t be happier. Getting a good garden started and beautiful landscaping has become an essential part our lives lately. Gardening has always been the most relaxing way for me to unwind each day and I ve missed it since mid-August 05. We re looking forward to meeting new garden friends and making trades. We ve grown various veggies and many flowers/bulbs over the years. Especially partial to fragrant blooms and lots of color and different heights. Want to start another butterfly and hummingbird garden as well as veggies. Trying to learn the soil around here and how to amend it if necessary. Would love any and all gardening pointers as we can always learn more. Happy gardening and thanks to everyone that has helped us get our feet in the dirt so to say by getting started here in OK!
