I left behind a bird sactuary in the making in South Carolina for a brand new beginning in the mountians of southcentral PA. I put up a tube seed feeder, niger seed bag and a hummingbird feeder. It is true what they say, if you put it up they will come. The second day I had a skittish female ruby throated hummingbird and she hasnt missed a meal since. On the third day a female gold finch had her fill on the niger seed. I felt at home when I saw them.

To be more exact I live in southcentral Pennsylvania in South Mountain, PA within Michaux State Forest. I have added many new birds to my life list including scarlet tanager and pileated woodpeckers.
