I live in Spring,TX. I'm trying really hard to improve the general health of my garden and plants through composting and more natural methods of pest control, etc. Still have some chemicals for persistent pests, but trying to use them less and less, til I am a total convert. I've been growing amaryllis since 1992. I think that these blooms are just amazing! I have 2 big dogs (setters) so my precious amaryllises are behind wire fencing for their own protection! :-)
