I live in Austin TX with my husband and six pets, and I love to garden. I am especially fond of tropicals and subtropicals. We recently landscaped our backyard, complete with a couple palms, some bananas, cannas, and flowering vines. I am especially interested in new tropicals/subtropicals that can be successfully grown here in central Texas (love flowers and plants that "do" things (fruit, twine, attract), but I also hold native, drought-tolerant plants close to my heart. I have two night-blooming catci, and I would plant an agave just about anywhere. Our garden has a greenhouse, a covered patio, and on a good day, you will think you are in Mexico.
