I am gardening in a wonderful spot right in the middle of a national park up on the thickly jungled slopes over looking the ocean.The garden is gently terraced and protected by thickets of mandarine trees.We are wet sub-tropics,but have dry winters.Our monsoons are violent affairs with typhoon weather.Winter is my favorite time of year when every-thing bursts into giant clouds of vibrant colour.And the snakes have found shelter in all my warm stone walls facing the sun.
