Married almost 36 yrs, mother of 5 grown "kids", grandma of 5. Went back to school to get recertified for teaching when youngest child started 1st gr. ('80) Substitute teacher since '82. Besides gardening, I am an avid reader, enjoy traveling,photography, hiking, boating. Hubby and I own a weekend home 1 hr N of our home in Dayton and enjoy our pontoon boat and sunsets on the lagoon behind our house. We have flower beds there, too. (Gluttons for punishment.lol)I grow mostly perennials and have become a collector, constantly needing to expand my beds to make room for new plants. My kids think I'm on the verge of xeriscaping lol.
