Now that the children are grown and gone, I have time to dabble in flowers! Been buying a little of everything, some good, some not so good, but I love being outside. I work full time, but am home each day by 3:30 so still have time before my husband gets home.

Funny story, I was at Meijers early Sat morning, and the garden lady was giving me some plants that were half dead and looking pretty pitiful - I told her that's fine, they will fit in with the rest of my plants!

Looking forward to getting my questions answered - I have lots of them!

Have found two books that have been helpful: Michigan Perennials and Michigan Annuals - very good!
