MY main interests are gardening, pets, and reading. The first two are often very hard on one another, as the garden resents the dogs lying in it and the dogs resent my chasing them out of the flower beds, but we're all happy when I'm lying in the hammock, a good book in my hands, a dog on my lap, and flowers blooming around me. I'm very interested in exotic and tropical plants.

Due to some recent posts here, I want to make a few things clear to everyone before setting up any more trades:
My seeds often contain chaff. If this is a problem for you, don't trade with me.
I reuse/recycle bubble envelopes.
I do not count seeds, unless specifically asked to do so. I always try to give a fair amount, but if you have issues with how many are enough, say so before we finalize a trade.
I carry all my trades to the PO and have them weighed so I can be certain adequate postage is used. I go to the PO once a week, normally on Mondays. Therefore, if we set up a trade on Monday night, it will not go out until the following Monday. Plant trades I package on Sunday afternoons.
I do not always use Priority shipping on plant trades. In my opinion, not all plants or cuttings require this during all seasons of the year. If this is a concern for you, say so. I have received many good plant trades in bubble envelopes mailed via first class, and they often arrive as quickly as Priority mail.
UPDATE 4/25! I WILL NO LONGER BE SHIPPING VIA PRIOITY MAIL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY ASKED TO DO SO. Yesterday I received a Prioity package postmarked 4/16---8 days ago! It had a Delivery Confirmation sticker as well, and my postal carrier admitted she had delivered it the day before to someone else by mistake. I checked with some folks who work at the PO, and was informed that Priority and 1st Class travel exactly the same way, at the same speed. Packages going 300 miles or more go by plane, 300 miles or less by truck. Priority does not guarantee any special handling nor insure the contents, and in the 1 to 1&1/2 lb. range costs about twice what 1st class does. Therefore, I will no longer spend the extra money to ship Priority, unless the person I am trading with specifically requests it. THIS MEANS YOU.
If you are disappointed in any trade you make with me, please let me know. I will do my best to make right anything that is my fault.
I have not posted this to upset anyone, but I have seen so many posts lately from unhappy people that I feel the need to state clearly my viewpoint.
