I am a 60 year old Grandmother of 6. My husband & I live on a lake in the gold country of Nothern California. I have been interested in gardening all of my adult life. I have had many failures that went to the trash can looking much worse then when they came into my garden. Over the years these mistakes have taught me how to enjoy my garden success today. I really enjoy garden design. My husband never knows if the tree, shrub or plant that he enjoyed yesterday will be in the same place today. Roses are a special interest of mine. I am starting to appreciate the different forms of iris more. I do wish I could grow Peonies the way my Mother did in Michigan.
