I am a professional landscape and nature photographer with a huge weak spot for lighthouses. My second love is gardening. We recently built a brand new house and I got to start my yard from scratch! We have almost three acres of woods, of which about 2/3 acre was cleared for the house and yard. I overseeded 15,000SF of grass in my lawn two years in a row and am still planting perennials like crazy. Now, if I could just get rid of the moles! I am married and the mother of two beautiful young children. My oldest is already showing an avid interest in gardening. I look forward to making new friends and learning more about gardening through this fabulous website.
