I live in Naperville (suburb of Chicago), have 2 kids and never have enough time for gardening. I do mostly perennials and shrubs and am in perpetual "remodeling" of my beds!

My soil is mostly clay that I am amending and in lots of places stays "damp" ...I am the low site on the cul de sac.

I work with what I have trying to match plants to the site rather than forcing plants to just make it.
