Im in the Mojave Desert in Southern California, elevation 2300 ft. It peaks out at 115 deg F in July/August each year. Always super windy here. It gets below freezing over winter for about 2 months too. Very little humidity and very little precip each year. Im new to gardening. Growing corn, carrots, peas, bell peppers, cucumbers, and pumpkins all for the first time. Also planted grass from seed, palm trees, plenty of flowers, bulbs, and grass shrubs that are doing great.
