Gardening in Pilbara region of Western Australia is very challenging. Temperatures in the summer can get to 45Deg Celcius. The soils have no nutrients. Gardening on a budget is also very challenging. Luckily I have moved to a house with good understorey. We mulch our gardens with horse manure, seaweed, cow manure.
