I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I grow all kinds of plants both indoors and out. I especially like sub-tropical plants for outdoors and tropical plants such as gesneriads, begonias, abutilons, echeverias, aloes, agaves, sansevierias, aroids, perennials, and everything else, for that matter. I am an active member of the San Francisco Gesneriad Society and the San Francisco Cactus and Succulent Society as well as The American Gloxinia and Gesneriad Society (AGGS).
