My grandparents had a lot in Miami 300 feet by 50 feet, growing almost every fruit tree that grows in Miami and a few that are not supposed to grow here, with a vegetable garden and shrubs. I am now trying to have a garden on my apartment balcony with some success. I find that the heat in Miami is disasterous for most herbs, especially the heat as it is reflected off the building and pavement around the apartment. I am now trying to save vegetable seed to plant in the planters.
