We own an 1931 Tudor in south Minneapolis and have been working our way through a series of projects. First we took the carpet out of the basement, which was already finished, when the water heater valve let go. Back to tiles. No more wet carpet for us. We also had an egress window put in and a larger shower. Next we turned a three season porch into a art studio for my wife who is a potter. We also added a kiln, now vented, into the laundry / shop room. Our last project was to tear out ceramic tile off the floor of the kitchen (white with black grout) and very hard to stand on. After cleaning up from that I sanded and refinished the wood floors that were under the tile and lineoleum and then moved on to gut the kitchen and install new cabintry.
