I haven't had a garden for years. It's good to feel the soil under my nails. I'm a traditional gardener... a spade, a pile of horse manure and I'm happy. My son is off doing the mitleighter thing. Not sure if it's worth the investment but we will find out. harvesting strawberries, cherry tomatoes zucchini, radishes lettuce broccoli and cucumbers. between us we have about 11 different tomatoes going. I still have some planting to do and I have about 200 sq ft to spade and amend. then I can get in some more roots... more radishes, beets, Jicama and more carrots. it's also time to put in my third planting of onions. Oh, and lots of herbs. I may not be able to get any corn in this year... my first garden without corn.
