I started organic gardening when I was just a lad, and have been doing it in British Columbia for about 30 years. I really enjoy working with soil and plants on our acreage.

Ive worked in the promotion of new and positive directions in forestry (earlier, worked in carpentry, woodworking, magazine journalism, retail sales). Im co-founder of a provincial marketing cooperative here in Canada.

I am married and enjoy music -- and the outdoors in numerous ways (X-C skiing, bicycling, walking, animal watching).

On our place, we grow annual veggies, ornamental shrubs and annual flowers, fruit trees, berry bushes, grapes, and shade trees -- still learning things.

Im pleased to say that, some years ago when I organized a small group in support of a "Sustaining Our Environment" forum, Spike responded and made it a reality!
