I'm an Illinois "Corn Country" transplant living in North Texas. I grow a bit of everything, but peppers and tomatoes are my specialty. I'm in the process of weeding out varieties that can't take the heat of our summers (sigh) and am always searching for a tomato that tasts like Brandywine, produces like Sungold and can take 100 heat without dropping flowers. I don't expect to find it, but the fun is in the journey.
