I m a college professor and architectural preservationist, who wishes she were a full-time gardener! I m a beginner (this is only my 9 year), a late-comer but I adore gardening. I have studied landscape design in the courses I teach. Alas, it doesn t help with the nuts- n-bolts of growing and propagating, however. WE have just moved to Jamestown RI, a block from the water in one higher zone than I ve been. SO PLEASE HELP. Gardening gives me deep and wonderful tranquility. Thank you nature!
