Just recently retired and loving it! My husband, also now retired, is finally becoming interested in gardening, yea!
We have a large vegetable garden, mixed beds of perennial and annual flowers. Our favorite flowers are our three kids and grandkids. With sons in Arizona and Rhode Island we always have a reason to visit those states. Fortunately our daughter lives nearby.

I also love sewing, cooking, reading and traveling.

Our son rented us a villa in Italy for a week for retirement and we were terrified, never even thought about going there, let alone learning the language and getting around a strange land without a tour guide. Well we took the challenge and are so glad! Loved the country, the people were wonderful and it gave us new confidence to try new things late in life.
