I'm from New York but live in Tokyo Japan. My wife and I have a home in Sag Harbor N.Y. that we vist in the summer. I've always loved bamboo and have planted it as a transplant at my parents home as a boy. It still grows there as big a healthy as ever.
I have now planted Moso and Nigra around my own home and wondered how they will fare in the climate which can be severe.
