I am an interior designer in Los Angeles, although I've also lived in San Francisco, New York (twice), D.C.(twice) and Cincinnati. I personally love modernism--1920s through 70s, although I also do somewhat more traditional work for some clients. I'm currently doing a gut remodel on a 1950s modern house (sort of Neutra-ish), where I live with DH, a Weimaraner and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. And I can't wait to start on the landscaping---if I ever get done with the inside!
