My name is Peggy and I am a housewife and mother of one beautiful daughter. My husband and I are also foster parents. Our family lives in northern Kentucky on 5 acres.

I am learning new things all the time, but I find gardening very rewarding! I love yellow and red flowers! I am trying to fill the shaded parts of our yard but am having a difficult time finding things to grow in the shade. Hostas are beautiful and I am experimenting with different combos of these, but what else besides ferns go with hosta? I also have some sunny spots and love filling those with as many fragant flowers as I can find.

How can you stop and smell the flowers when there isn't a fragrance!!!!!!!!!!!
