I live in an old farmhouse in the country in the wide-open state of Montana. I share my life with my hubby of several years, and our 2 \"boys\"; Jesse, an Australian Shepherd, and Shaq, a Pekingese. When we are not working on renovating this old house, we like to fish, follow basketball, watch movies, play with our barnyard of critters, and be goofy. In my spare time, from my job in healthcare, I work as a stained glass craftsman and spend much of my winter travelling to shows to sell my art.
I have done lots of landscaping since we bought our home in 1991, and I have loved every minute (ok, well maybe not \"every\" minute). I have dreamed since I was a child of having a garden pond, and am finally realizing that dream. But in Montanas harsh climate, it is certainly a challenge. My favorite part of ponding is learning all the processes and designing my own solutions (filters, etc). I love frugal ponding ideas, so if you have any, lets share!
